Before this grand adventure a lot of pre-planning had to take place. I give Edee 100% of the credit for planning the adventure, planning the meals, planning who would be helpers for the various tasks along the way (breakfast, lunch, dinner, motorhome, etc.) All I had to do was to find and book a motorhome, plan the route and to make the necessary reservations along the way. Compared to what Edee accomplished, my task was nothing!!!
These are a few photos of the evening before we leave. We are going over the basics, like rules of the motorhome, what to expect on the trip, etc.
This is also the time everyone was handed their 'EDGE Packs' and 'The EDGE Guide Books'. EDGE Packs are basically cloth pouches to carry whatever will fit in them. The EDGE Guide Books are something that you would have to see to believe. That is why I have scanned in a couple of pages as an example. See the bottom of this page for those scans.
Anyway, Edee did a phenomenal job of planning this entire adventure.... my compliments to her for such a smooth experience!!! |
