The EDGE Links
Once we left Zion, we were off to Lake Powell. We arrived at the campsite, and the very first thing that was everyone's mind was to go for a swim. It was getting pretty warm, actually hot, and the water looked inviting. Uncle Tim shuttled the EDGE-lings to the lake while a few of stayed back initially to put the finishing touches on our camp spot. By the time Uncle Tim got back from taking the first group to the lake, the rest of us were ready to go. The lake was down about 40 feet from the normal level, but we didn't seem to notice. We found this beautiful spot with a sandy beach and some cliffs to jump off of.
As you can see the EDGE-lings were having a great time swimming in Lake Powell. The day was perfect for a swim and the water temperature was just right to cool us off.
Here we see Aunt Edee & Uncle Tim in a sequence of shots as they each jump of the cliff into the water.

The next series of photos is of Eric, Justin, Uncle Dan (me), and Amy.

Here we have Aunt Donna jumping off some cliffs that were on the opposite side of the cove that we were swimming in.
Aunt Edee and Lynn decided to jump in together. Take note at the middle picture. Aunt Edee's landing was, let's just say less attractive than Lynn's.
Aunt Edee takes another plunge, this time with Karen.
Here we have brave Kevin who decides to go it alone and take the plunge.
Driving from Lake Powell into Page, Arizona you cross over Glenn Canyon itself. Here is a photo from the bridge over looking Glen Canyon.
Looking the other direction from the bridge, you get a fantastic view of Lake Powell.
Leaving our camp spot, we traveled on a road that gave us a wonderful opportunity to view the beauty of this magnificent lake.
