| Welcome to "The EDGE". "The EDGE" started out as an idea in my sister Edee's head back about June of 2001. She originally was going to take all the cousins (nieces & nephews to her and me) on a motorhome camping trip. Her original plan was to tackle this whole adventure by herself. After some thought (she came to her senses) she decided that may not be such a good idea, so she asked if I would be interested in driving and handling the motorhome responsibilities. I agreed. Shortly after that, she solicited help from my father (her father too & Grandpa to the kids), and he agreed. That brings me to the point of this introduction. I believe it was Grandpa that thought of the name for this adventure. We shall call it "The Edee, Dan, Grandpa, Experience" (he said) or "The EDGE" for short!! While I am explaining things, I might as well tell you that this is a very picture intensive adventure. I have chosen to make this 'Introduction Page' with links to the different 'Days of Adventure'. This page should load quickly, but the rest of the pages may take a while to load (especially if you have a 56K modem or slower ... you can expect up to 10 minutes a page with a dial-up connection). There is a total of about 11 megabytes worth of pictures to look at, so when you have some time ..... but I believe the wait will be well worth it!! Welcome to "The EDGE"! |
